When we are struggling to take care of everything that is demanding our attention and energy, that is when we must take a moment to reflect on what is important. Remember taking care of yourself is crucial for preventing burnout. Make it a priority to time out for self-reflection and activities that help you relax and recharge, such as a long walk, journaling or cooking your favorite meal, or spending time with friends and loved ones.
Step 2: Set Boundaries
Setting Healthy boundaries for yourself is essential when it comes to protecting your mental and emotional health. We often over extend ourselves in order to make others happy If you’re feeling overwhelmed, it may be necessary to set boundaries and learn it’s OK to say no to certain commitments or delegate the task to others that you are confident will complete them successfully. Be clear in setting and expressing your boundaries to others. Consistency is key when establishing new healthy boundaries. Remember, it’s okay to put your own needs first.
Step 3: Practice Gratitude
